The infamous Avocado Toast takes on roasted garlic. Results are as expected. Roasted garlic is expertly smeared across crisp bread, topped with avocado and delicately sprinkled with seasoned finishing salt.
After traveling to Austin last summer, my avocado toast experiences have never been the same.
See that sprinkle of finishing salt on my toast?
That’s Lenoir Finishing Salt. It amplifies the umami factor on everything. I’m already looking forward to the first bite of summer tomatoes with a sprinkle – it’s the best.
A little mayo, a slice of a juicy heirloom tomato and Lenoir. By now you might think I sell this stuff out of the trunk of my car – nope – I just think anything that impacts my tastebuds like this needs to be shouted from the mountain tops. Speaking of umami, have you ever tried Trader Joe’s umami seasoning?
Alas, it’s winter and the heirloom tomatoes are months away, but the winter has left us with garlic. And what better inspiration to create the BEST avocado toast ideas.
Even if you leave off the avocado, shhh, I didn’t say that, you can enjoy a delicious piece of roasted garlic bread. It makes the perfect appetizer with a thin slice of parmesan. Especially when the garlic it hot out of the oven.
This roasted garlic bread is just what you need to warm your belly. Lots of creamy + mellow roasted garlic, topped with avocado and of course, finishing salt. Find a favorite finishing salt and you will never go back.
