New App to Embrace a Healthy Lifestyle

April 23, 2016 by Emily Brees Leave a Comment - This post may contain affiliate links.

gardenEarth Day week was a whirlwind of activities – starting with my Earth Day booth on campus to opening day (aka clean-up day) at our community garden – I’m too exhausted to even think about making dinner. I’d like to have an assistant to feed me on these busy days – but until then – I have this new app to at least do some of the work for me.

I was selected to review the new recipe app from OneGreenPlanet – a website that is a great source for vegan recipes.

Their website extends way beyond recipes, so it’s nice to have this app to focus on just that. The design is very clean and bright, intuitive and easy to search by a specific recipe name, ingredient or genre.

I frequently search by vegetable which is especially convenient on days when I’ve been working in the garden non-stop. Find the perfect recipes in the moment or do your homework and plan for the entire week!

The app launched just in time for Earth Day.
Check it out here.

Explore- vegetableThere are so many talented cooks in the OneGreenPlanet community of food bloggers – I find an amazing assortment of recipes and I am consistently inspired by all of them.

There are specific categories for special diets like gluten free and sections devoted to seasonal recipes.

I’m getting ready to start my rhubarb bonanza over here!

And of course there are a bunch of recipes from Oat&Sesame on there too!
